Listen: Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti Post New Track, Album Details
‘Baby’ features on the band’s forthcoming album, ‘Mature Themes’.
Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti have announced details of their forthcoming album - and are giving fans a preview via one of the record’s tracks.
‘Mature Themes’ will be released via 4AD on 20th August, the follow-up ‘proper’ to 2010’s ‘Before Today’.
Speaking to SPIN, Ariel said of the album: ‘Sonically, it’s comparable. There are definitely not any links to my lo-fi origins. It’s so diverse but so different from anything I’ve done before. In a sense, it’s really the record I wanted to make back when I made Before Today, but couldn’t due to pressures and different factors. We had time to let our hair down and try new things.’
One of the tracks featured on the record, ‘Baby’, is available to listen to now at label 4AD.
The band head out on tour across North America this September as posted yesterday.
