Arlo Parks shares ‘Angel’s Song’
The emotional new song is our final teaser of forthcoming EP, ‘Sophie’.
With her new EP ‘Sophie’ set to dazzle at the end of the month, Arlo Parks is giving us the latest gorgeous taste of what’s to come.
Sharing hushed new track ‘Angel’s Song’, it’s yet another example of her emotionally poetic lyrics and stunning songwriting. “It’s an observational piece surrounding a person I cared about a lot - it details their vices and habits and worries,” she explains. “I remember sending it to them in the early hours of the morning and hoping that it would uplift them and make them feel loved.”
“I’m interested in people, that’s what I like writing about,” she told us in our September Issue about her next steps. “What we hate and how we hate; love and disgust… I feel like doing music helps me come to terms with stuff. I feel so much more comfortable in myself because I’m doing something I love.”
On top of that, she’s also sharing details of her first ever headline tour! Playing 12 dates across the UK and Europe, it all kicks off in February, before she flies out to Texas for SXSW.
