Listen Best Coast share festive cover of ‘Little Saint Nick’
The duo take on The Beach Boys’ Christmas classic.
It’s cold and we’re perpetually hungover, which can only mean one thing: Christmas is nearly here! And although our immune systems are slowly faltering, the festive season does offer up some lovely covers of our faves by our faves, and Best Coast have put out our fave one yet.
Sharing their festive version of The Beach Boys’ Christmas classic ‘Little Saint Nick’, the pair - made up of Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno - explain, “Being from California and being heavily influenced by The Beach Boys, we had to cover this one. It’s also always fun for me to cover a song with a wall of harmonies and background vocals because it’s my favorite part about recording vocals.”
The Christmas cover follows the release of ‘For The First Time’, taken from their forthcoming new album ‘Always Tomorrow’.
