Brad Stank unveils new track ‘Breathing Like A Baby’

With his debut album ‘Kinky Om’ set to land on 5th June via Heist or Hit, Brad Stank is giving us our latest taste of what to expect with new track ‘Breathing Like A Baby’.

Inspired by Jack Kerouac’s Wake Up, the woozy newbie features a verse from Philadelphia-based rapper Ryshon Jones. “I acquired the insight of Ryshon, whose voice seemed to fit perfectly with the track sonically,” Brad says of the collab. “His first line is ‘the centre is the place,’ which hit the nail on the head of what I was trying to say.”

Alongside this, it also includes a sample of Indian Philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti. “Krishnamurti’s had a big influence on my state of mind during the writing and recording of the album,” Brad highlights, “so I wanted to pay tribute to him by sampling one of my favourite quotes in the song.”
