Listen: Brody Dalle Unleashes New Track ‘Parties For Prostitutes’

The second taste from her ‘Diploid Love’ has been unveiled and it’s a rather different affair.

The first cut from Brody Dalle’s forthcoming solo debut was, as hoped, an in-your-face punk-laden assault, complete with Shirley Manson and Warpaint’s Emily Kokal.

Now, the second taste from her ‘Diploid Love’ has been unveiled and it’s a rather different affair. A simmering track that sees her taunting growl grow until an almost QOTSA-esque guitar solo kicks in, ‘Parties For Prostitutes’ showcases a new, but brilliant, string to her bow.

The ex-Distillers front woman has confirmed that her debut solo album will be released on 28th April through Caroline Records, but have a listen to its latest cut below.

Brody Dalle will also be returning to the UK later this year for a tour, as follows.

APRIL
21 Garage, Glasgow
22 Manchester Academy 2
24 Electric Ballroom, London
25 Leadmill, Sheffield
26 O2 Academy 2, Birmingham
