Listen: Glass Animals Unveil ‘Gooey’ Single
Oxford weird-poppers sing about peanut butter on their sugary treat of a new track.

Oxford’s Glass Animals are fresh from playing a Colin Greenwood (of Radiohead and catwalk genius) curated show in their hometown. They’re also about to head off on a handful of European dates with St. Vincent, which makes it an opportune time to share a new standalone track.
‘Gooey’ is the ronsil of alternative-pop, living up to its title by offering a swarm of sugary caramel sweetness, its chorus running ‘You just wanna know those peanut butter vibes.’ It makes zero sense, but it sounds great, and it’s surprising that line’s never entered a chorus before.
