NYC-based DFA signings brink the funk to Drake’s original.
‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ is turning into a de-facto choice for bands who fancy covering a great pop song. It’s a pretty versatile track too, with Arctic Monkeys being the last lot to take it on, casting a gritty guitar shadow.
NYC’s Holy Ghost! - who’ve just released their ‘Dynamics’ record via DFA - have lent the original a synthy glow, funk lining the seams. Gorgeous city skylines await.
