Listen: James Blake Shares Edit Of Drake’s ‘Come Thru’
Blake x Drake is no longer a combination of the wildest imaginations.
On the eve of the Mercury Prize announcement, James Blake has unveiled a new track in the form of a Drake edit.
His take on ‘Come Thru’ has been released as a free download, uploaded on Blake’s own 1-800-DINOSAUR Soundcloud channel. Topping the original with trademark glitchy synths and some gritty loops, it’s a glimpse of the producer’s work that wasn’t fashioned in such cutting form on the ‘Retrograde’ album.
