Listen: James Blake Unveils New ‘Life Round Here’ Feat. Chance The Rapper

Floppy-fringed producer has a new version of an ‘Overgrown’ highlight.

James Blake

has shared a new version of ‘Life Round Here’, a track from his second LP ‘Overgrown’, this time featuring guest vocals from Chance the Rapper.

The ‘Acid Rap’ future-superstar provides an oddball verse that sounds like it’s been conceived in six different echoey rooms at once.

On the collaboration, Blake stated:

I really like his mixtape [Acid Rap] and saw him at South by Southwest, I just thought his voice would work really well. I never felt the track was finished, even when it went on the album, I always thought there was space for something else.’

The track’s about to receive a new music video, which is currently being filmed.
