Listen: Julianna Barwick Previews Album With ‘One Half’
Recording in Reykjavik, Iceland, has clearly had its effect on Barwick.

has shared a new track from her forthcoming ‘Nepenthe’ album, due out 20th August on Dead Oceans worldwide.
‘One Half’ is the first substantial indication of the follow-up to 2011’s ‘The Magic Place’. First came a trailer featuring ‘Forever’. Now, we’ve full insight into the impact of Julianna’s collaborations with string section Amiina, who contribute to Sigur Ros’ records. The album was recorded in Reykjavik, Iceland, and again the organic beauty of a song from Jonsi and co. rubs off on ‘One Half’.
