Listen: Lower Than Atlantis Unveil New Single
The UK rock band stream their first new material since album ‘World Record’.
Lower Than Atlantis have unveiled their new single ‘If The World Was To End’.
The single, which is the first new material that the band have debuted since the release of their latest album ‘World Record’ came out in April last year, received its first play on Radio 1’s Breakfast Show this morning. You can now, however, listen however many times you’d like below.
Frontman Mike Duce also gives a little extra insight into the track:
‘It sounds a little… crazy… but I have this ‘Truman Show’ style theory that this world isn’t real, and everyone’s in on it except me. This song is an explanation of that craziness, set to the backdrop of an imagined end of the world scenario, whilst also questioning what my own personal actions would be. Sink or swim, lose of fail miserably, what’s it gonna be?’
As of yet, the single has no confirmed release date, but the band are set to begin work on the follow-up to their 2011 album after they tour the UK in January:
