Listen: New Cat Power Track ‘Cherokee’ Appears Online
Another new track has surfaced from her forthcoming effort ‘Sun’.
Last week, the news of Cat Power’s new album surfaced, along with a brand new track entitled ‘Ruin’.
But, if you’re after another taste of what’s to come, you can now hear another new song, ‘Cherokee’, thanks to this NPR.org playlist.
Cat Power will release ‘Sun’ on the 4th September through Matador (in the US), and is also, her first record compiled of original material since 2006’s ‘The Greatest’.
The album was also performed and produced by Chan Marshall herself in a number of locations, including a self-built Malibu studio.
