Listen: Oliver Wilde Shares ‘Stomach Full Of Cats’ Track
Unsung Bristolian hero ups the anti ahead of his October UK tour.
Bristolian Oliver Wilde remains one of the more underrated new acts out there in the UK, his debut full-length ‘A Brief Introduction To Unnatural Lightyears’ picking up a fair fluttering of praise, granted (read DIY’s 9/10 review) but maybe not on the level the Howling Owl signing so deserved.
He’s pushing on with the release of a new single, ‘Stomach Full Of Cats’. Rooted in the washed-out fuzzy approach he sported so proudly with the debut, this one also possesses a keen ear of ear-bending, sun-swept melodies. It links up with the yet-to-be-unveiled ‘‘Night In Time Lapse (Somewhere Safe)’ track, released as a single on 11th November.
His second album’s due out sometime in 2014. Check out his forthcoming dates below the player.
