Listen: St. Lucia Shares ‘Too Close’ Track

NYC producer provides another giddy song for his blinding synth-pop CV.

Listen: St. Lucia Shares ‘Too Close’ Track

NYC’s Jean-Philip Grobler is getting ready to release his new St. Lucia album on Neon Gold Records - those in the States will be able to grab ‘When The Night’ from 8th October.

For those unacquainted: St. Lucia makes giddy, arms-aloft synthpop, the kind that wriggles its way into the making of massive pop tracks. ‘Elevate’ came out a month or so age - it sounded bloody huge.

‘Too Close’ quickly follows. The latest Grobler freakout is more suited to festival set closers with pyrotechnics gone bonkers. It’s expansive and totally unafraid to go bigger than it’s usually sensible to go.
