Listen: TALA Previews Debut EP With ‘Serbia’ Track
London-based producer with Iranian descent releases her debut EP ‘The Duchess’ this June.

New London producer TĀLĀ stepped out with formidable intent at the beginning of this month. Debut track ‘The Duchess’ came off like a cross between Grimes’ pitch-changing production and the murky bleakness of Forest Swords.
‘Serbia’, TĀLĀ’s second track, is a further take from debut EP ‘The Duchess’, out 2nd June on Aesop (the first home of SOHN). On this effort, a veritable montage of samples flicker by in finger-clicking speed, with wonky beats linking up alongside a sugar-dosed, memorable pop hook of ‘You give me that something / just what I need.’
Pre-order ‘The Duchess’.
