Listen: Tender Trap Post Christmas Song
The track is titled ‘Leaving Christmas Day’, and appears on their recent album.
Tender Trap have unveiled a Christmas song on SoundCloud - have a listen below.
The track is titled ‘Leaving Christmas Day’, and is described as ‘a festive ditty about a girl who discovers that her boyfriend is a creationist christian.’
It appears on the band’s recent album ‘Ten Songs About Girls’, which came out a few months ago through Fortuna Pop - who’ve also recently signed Joanna Gruesome.
DIY caught up with Tender Trap’s Ameila Fletcher earlier this year. Speaking of the album’s creation, she told us: ‘We went in lots of different directions. We started off with days of the year so there’s ‘Mayday’ and ‘Leaving Christmas Day’, but then we got stuck.
‘At one point we were going to do an album about death so there’s a couple of songs about death, but then we got stuck again! All of our things went wrong so it became ‘Ten Songs About Girls’.’
