Oh it’s a hard time for ol’ Jimmy B (no, we’re not talking about Jimmy Bullard here). This time last year James Blake had it all, people were still in love with his self-titled debut.
Then we dumped him on account of over-exposure and too many listens. He certainly didn’t help the matter by putting out a bizarre dancehall track, which sounded like he had been smoking too much to drown his sorrows, and that recent keyboard cat meme.
So fast-forward to Feb 2012 and we’re all eagerly awaiting the words ‘A RETURN TO FORM’ to be splattered all over the blogs, aren’t we?
Is this, a remix of the recently-revived D’Angelo, said return to form? Well, take a listen above and let us know your thoughts.
