Listen: Tourist Streams ‘Patterns Ft. Lianne La Havas’ Track

When she’s not hosting impromptu press conferences for Prince in her living room, Lianne La Havas helps out on vocals for exciting producers like Will Phillips aka Tourist. On ‘Patterns’ - a track from the London newcomer’s forthcoming EP of the same name - she commands over ‘spiralling’ electronics and the sound of a gospel choir.

There’s no softness or resolute slickness to ‘Patterns’. By the time it kicks into gear there’s nothing to be done in stopping it. And again, it seems like Phillips is keen to explore a completely side - that’s become a trademark of his for the past couple of years.
