Tune-Yards’ new LP ‘Nikki Nack’ is out this May via 4AD.
Merrill Garbus aka Tune-Yards has unveiled a second track from her new album ‘Nikki Nack’.
‘Wait For a Minute’ is a streamlined but suitably crazed number that applies R&B nods and maddening instrumental parts in equal measure. It’s less of an unpredictable trip than the previously unveiled song ‘Water Fountain’. This one has Garbus stretching vocals to new soulful heights, in a song produced by Malay.
‘Nikki Nack’ is out via 4AD on 5th May. Pre-order on iTunes.
