Listen: Tune-Yards Unveils New ‘Water Fountain’ Track

After a crazed, no-questions-asked MegaMix of her new album, Tune-Yards has shared the first track from ‘Nikki Nack’.

‘Water Fountain’ is the sound of maddening ideas boiling to the surface. It contains the lyric ‘£2 chicken tastes better with friends’, backed by pow-pow synths and ‘WOO-HAH’ chants. This is Tune-Yards all over; a batshit crazy but ultimately brilliant wall of noise.

‘Nikki Nack’ is released on 6th May through 4AD.
