Listen: Vaults Unveil New Single, ‘Premonitions’
London trio play this year’s Latitude Festival, following a debut headline show in May.
Towards the end of 2014, London trio Vaults came out of nowhere with ‘Cry No More’, a debut track that picked up a casual half a million plays and put the previously anonymous outfit on the map. On new single ‘Premonitions’ - the band’s first for National Anthem - Bat For Lashes comparisons continue, with moody strings and electrifying beats pointing more towards a 90s-stamped trip-hop sound.
Either way, it’s an ultra-confident follow-up to the band’s debut. So far the trio are still going as just that - a trio. There’s no information beyond that. Zero names, just two triumphant tracks destined for the charts. Gloomy as hell, too.
Vaults play their debut show at London’s Courtyard Theatre on 15th May. They’re also set to play this year’s Latitude Festival.
