Listen: Woman’s Hour Share Leona Lewis Cover, ‘Bleeding Love’
Current DIY Weekly ‘Futurepop’ stars take on a magnificent ballad. And it works.

Current DIY Weekly cover-stars Woman’s Hour are part of our big bundle of Futurepop goodness; stars who’ll be setting the agenda for the next couple of years. On this occasion, Fiona Burgess and co have struck up an unlikely strut by covering X Factor Winner Leona Lewis’ ‘Bleeding Love’. It’s an odd match on paper, but bloody hell it works.
Gaining its first airing on Made In Chelsea, soundtracking an awkward coffee shop scene between some bloke called Jamie and probably someone else named Beatrice, it’s a very clever showcasing of Woman’s Hour’s now signature deft touches, flipping a glorious ballad inside out and making it sound downright gorgeous.
It’s actually proving popular, climbing up the iTunes chart as you read these very words. Buy now.
