Listen: Woods Announce UK Dates, Stream ‘With Light And With Love’ Track

Anyone requiring a nine-minute exercise in how to record guitars with old-school production techniques just had their wishes granted. Woods are sharing the title track from their new record, ‘With Light And With Love’. Complete with scrappy solos, cowbell and organ sections, it’s about the bravest thing they’ve put to tape, and also the most spirited.

The new track links up with the more concise ‘Moving to the Left’ and ‘Leaves Like Glass’. Already the band had hinted at upping their game with a clearer, cleaner sound - this is the ultimate affirmation of that.

Woods are also touring the UK this August/September, with dates including an appearance at End of the Road festival.

‘With Light And With Love’ comes out on 14th April via Woodsist.
