Listen: X Priest X Unveil ‘Sophie K’ Track

Florida duo X Priest X have added another silky dose of synth-pop in the form of ‘Sophie K’, which is taken from the pair’s debut EP ‘Samurai’, out 15th April on Swedish label Emotion.

This latest track follows on from ‘Isn’t It So’, with ‘Sophie K’ carrying more of a movie closing sequence feel to it, good enough to be backed by fireworks if that situation ever came to fruition. Madeline Priest’s vocals stay resolute next to producer Dave Kazyk’s stirring synth effects - it’s like the sound of Chromatics resisting a nostalgic urge.
