Liv Dawson lifts the lid on her latest Disclosure-produced track ‘Searching’

18 year old Surrey singer and songwriter Liv Dawson is no stranger to working with Disclosure; her last single ‘Open Your Eyes’ was produced by Guy Lawrence.

Now she’s teamed back up with the production maestros for her sparkling new electro-pop jam ‘Searching’. Speaking to Complex, Liv spoke about how the track came about: “I was in the studio with Disclosure and Jimmy Napes working on ideas when the boys came up with the beat for ‘Searching’.”

It’s a simple story, but it’s one that perfectly fits the smooth, effortless nature of the track itself. Liv soulfully laments about lost love over the Lawrences’ quick-fire house beats and hefty vintage synth stabs. If you’re looking for a new floor-filling club banger, your search might be over.
