Liverpool Music Week adds Dinosaur Jr, Louis Berry and the DIY Breaking Out series!

We’re bringing The Big Moon, Dream Wife, Abattoir Blues and more to the musical fun-fest.

Liverpool Music Week have added a whole host of treats to their 2016 line-up, including the return of the DIY Breaking Out series.

Joining the main line-up are Dinosaur Jr, who headline the Arts Club Theatre on 27th October with new album ‘Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not’ in tow. They’re backed up by Louis Berry, who headlines Leaf on October 31st - that’s Halloween, fact fans. They both join the already-announced likes of Warpaint, Clean Cut Kid and more at the Merseyside bash, the closing party for which has also been announced as taking place

That’s not all, mind - DIY are also set to return to the fest, bringing out Breaking Out series back for another round. We’ll be hosting shows with The Big Moon, Kagoule, Dream Wife, Abattoir Blues, Let’s Eat Grandma and Amber Arcades at the Arts Club Loft - there’s a snazzy poster for those below.

“DIY are thrilled once again to be partnering with Liverpool Music Week for its 12th edition,” says DIY’s Neu editor Jamie Milton. “Following on from the huge success of the DIY Breaking Out series in 2015 which featured some fantastic, packed-out and sweaty shows from the likes of Shura & DMAs, we bring you the future of new music once again through our 2016 LMW series with another awesome run of dates at Arts Club, including the off-kilter weird pop of Let’s Eat Grandma, Amber Arcades’ hazy shoegaze, the biting poolside pop of Dream Wife, Abattoir Blues’ psych-rock sludge, the chaotic whirlwind alt-rock of Kagoule, and the breathless, playful euphoria of The Big Moon.”

Liverpool Music Week takes place from 26th October to 4th November. For tickets and more info, head this way.
