London O’Connor shares ‘Nobody Hangs Out Anymore’ and announces forthcoming album ‘O∆’

The album will be out 23rd June as a free download.

It hasn’t taken long, but London O’Connor has already stamped himself as an unconventional star. He’s released music via a bizarre fake kidnapping of himself, he’s gone skating in a dress and he’s created the visuals for his own video game. Now though, he’s dropped himself down to earth in a shower of dead-pan rap and emotional pleas for companionship with the release of ‘Nobody Hangs Out Anymore’ and the announcement of his debut album ‘O∆’

The song bases itself around - you guessed it - the fact that nobody hangs out anymore; reflecting on our increasing presence within the internet and the loneliness that comes from a life without physical interaction.

‘O∆’ is out as a free download on 23rd June, speaking to Stereogum O’Connor had this to say about the album and the track:

“I am putting out my first album June 23rd. It is titled: O∆. If when you hear it, you feel like its talking about where you live, then I want you to leave.”

“There are over 5,986,000,000,000,000 square feet of land on earth. O∆.”

Setting his sights on the realm of some of a generation of forward thinking , genre spanning songwriters such a Raury, Boots and Ben Kahn London O’Connor’s debut is sure to be interesting at the very least.
