Signed to Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label, UK producer Lapalux has announced details of his new, second album - ‘Lustmore’.
The follow-up to 2011 debut ‘Nostalchic’ is out 6th April. His previous effort was defined by a scatterbrained, eats-everything approach, where dozens of samples collided at once, hip-hop nods being cast up against sky-rocketing electronics.
On the basis of new track ‘Closure’, Lapalux is opting for a sparser sound, vocalist Szjerdene adding a star-gazing, open-ended contrast to the producer’s experimental mentality.
