Watch Los Bitchos get into the festive spirit in ‘Los Chrismos’ video

After sharing a Christmas edition of their debut album ‘Let The Festivities Begin!’, Los Bitchos are getting us even more in the spirit with the new video for their single ‘Los Chrismos’.

“The Los Chrismos video was SO much fun to make,” director Tom Mitchell says of the 80s-inspired skiing shoot. “We went deep into the 80s in every sense! The video opens with us gracing (or rather hurtling chaotically down) the slopes in vintage pastel ski suits, but ultimately just keen to get back to the chalet and open a bottle of bubbly! Log fire crackling in the background, it’s time to let those high ponies down and live our 80s blow out dreams for a fondu, presents, several glasses of wine, and some coy looks across the dinner table. We couldn’t resist some Jane Fonda inspired lycra and choreo cause why not, it’s Chrismos?! The party outfits for the final scenes got us feeling so festive. Our 80s fashion dreams came true with the help of our amazing stylist Ciara Movana Bruen who sourced most of the outfits through Here After Vintage (awesome vintage shop on Brick Lane in London).”

In our review of their debut album ‘Let The Festivities Begin!’, which arrived in February, we said, “There will be few debuts this year that feel like such glorious exercises in musical technicolour; for it to arrive as we emerge from two years of confinement makes it feel all the more vital.”
