Lower Than Atlantis reveal new single ‘English Kids In America’
The band have revealed a second taste of their forthcoming self-titled album.
It barely feels like five minutes since Lower Than Atlantis burst back onto the airwaves with their newest offering ‘Here We Go’, but now, they’re giving up a second taste of to come from their forthcoming new album.
The band, whose previous track has managed to dominate Radio 1’s A-List for the past four weeks, have now unveiled their first single proper to be taken from their self-titled record in the form of ‘English Kids In America’.
Premiered as Zane Lowe’s “future exclusive”, the massive song also comes complete with a tongue-in-cheek video, which sees the Watford four-piece taking the track’s name quite literally whilst living it up in Los Angeles.
Speaking of the newest cut from ‘Lower Than Atlantis’, frontman Mike Duce has said: “The success of ‘Here We Go’ was unexpected for us! It was a song originally intended to be a B-side, so we’re even more excited now for the release of a track that was heavily scrutinised during the writing process and [is] also one of our favourites off the album. It’s just a fun, catchy singalong track about a great experience in the band’s history with a little interesting guitar work thrown in for good measure.”
Listen to ‘English Kids In America’ below.
The band, who are gearing up to appear at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals shortly, will be releasing their new single on 22nd September, before their fourth album lands on 29th September via Sony Red.
