Loyle Carner returns with ‘Ottolenghi’
The rapper’s comeback single, ft Jordan Rakei, comes complete with a brilliant new video.
Loyle Carner is back! The rapper has shared ‘Ottolenghi’, a new single featuring Jordan Rakei, his first new music since 2017 debut album ‘Yesterday’s Gone’.
The track comes complete with a brilliant new video (with a cameo from the titular celebrity chef himself!).
The clip sees Loyle taking a train journey which sees him run into Yotam, inspired by the song’s origin, which came about when a family on a train quizzed Loyle about the book he was reading, thinking it was the bible. In fact, it was Yotam’s cookbook ‘Jerusalem’.
Loyle Carner fronted DIY’s Class Of 2017 issue last year, before taking ‘Yesterday’s Gone’ on a huge tour, ending with a homecoming show at London’s Brixton Academy.
