Lucy Dacus announces new album ‘Historian’
She’s also shared new track ‘Night Shift’ and announced UK dates.

Following the release of ‘No Burden’ two years ago, Lucy Dacus has announced her second album.
‘Historian’ will be out on 2nd March 2018 through Matador Records and is set to see Lucy taking on questions, tearful declarations and moments of hard fought-for peace. “This is the album I need to make”, she says in a statement. “Everything after this is a bonus”.
Alongside the announcement, Lucy’s also shared the album’s lead track ‘Night Shift’, which features a powerful performance from the vocalist. It also happens to be the only breakup song that she’s written.
Lucy will also be heading out on a UK tour in April, as part of a wider European run. She’ll head to Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, London and Brighton along the way. Tickets are on sale now.
