Crushed like a bug in the ground
Lxury gets celebratory on new track, ‘Let Down’
Disclosure-affiliated producer turns attention to 2015.

London producer Lxury has a habit of using song titles as direct juxtapositions. ‘Pick You Up’, his previous track, actually ended up being a sombre mood-turner, whereas the grim-sounding ‘Let Down’ stands out as his most celebratory, open-eyed song to date.
Having debuted on Annie Mac’s Friday night BBC Radio 1 show, the track’s being offered out as a free download. Getting by on heady, blink-and-you-missed-it samples and sharing the same headspace as something on Gold Panda’s ‘Lucky Shiner’ debut, it’s a glassy, warm toast to 2015 - Lxury’s set to have a good one.
Last year saw Lxury touring the UK with Tourist on the Annie Mac Presents Tour - he’s yet to confirm any 2015 dates.
