Marika Hackman announces new London date
Londoner headlines Union Chapel in November.
Following the release of her debut album ‘We Slept At Last’, Marika Hackman has announced a one-off London date.
The Londoner will be headlining Union Chapel on Friday 6th November. Tickets go on sale from 9AM on Wednesday 17th June.
DIY spoke to Hackman earlier this year about her first work and sense of control that defined its making and release. “It feels like it was a long time coming because of the amount of growing I had to do, before I felt ready to make a full-length. But in terms of the actual record itself, I wrote it all pretty much this year. Then I sat down for six weeks in the studio and did it day-by-day,” she said, speaking about her collaboration with producer Charlie Andrew.
