Mark Ronson keeps Number One singles spot for a seventh week running

Mark Ronson’s chart double from last week came to an end, with Meghan Trainor’s debut ‘Title’ LP beating ‘Uptown Special’ to the Number One spot.

The Official Charts Company has named Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’ single as Number One for a seventh week running, the track being streamed over 2.3 million times.

Elsewhere in the Official Albums Chart, First Aid Kit’s ‘Stay Gold’ climbed 54 places after the Swedish duo appeared on this week’s Graham Norton Show.

Rae Morris’ debut album ‘ Unguarded’ debuted at #9 , while The Charlatans’ returning ‘Modern Nature’ LP took the #7 spot.

Other new entries arrived from Gaz Coombes (#18, with ‘ Matador’) and Papa Roach (#13, with ‘F.E.A.R’).

In the Official Singles Chart, Fergie’s ‘L.A.Love (La La)’ went straight in at #2, while Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney’s ‘FourFive Seconds’ took the #4 spot.
