Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’ breaks streaming chart record for third week running
George Ezra’s ‘Wanted On Voyage’ took the top spot in the albums chart.
Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’ featuring Bruno Mars has enjoyed a Christmas break boost to already heady chart stats - it’s broken the most-streamed stat record for the third week running.
This week saw ‘Uptown Funk’ being played 2.56 million times, a new high-point following a December 28th peak of 2.49 million streams. The single topped the UK chart for the third week in a row and fourth in total, the only interruption being X Factor winner Ben Haenow for Christmas Number One.
In the Official UK Albums Chart, George Ezra’s ‘Wanted On Voyage’ enjoyed a rise back to the top, beating Ed Sheeran’s ‘X’ to the #1 spot.
‘Uptown Funk’ is taken from Mark Ronson’s new album ‘Uptown Special’, which is set to feature Stevie Wonder and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker.
