Marques Toliver Announces London Dates

He’ll be playing two dates with Beach House later in the month.

Marques Toliver is set to finally release his debut album, titled ‘Land of CanAan’, this May via Bella Union.

The singer-songwriter, whose string parts have been heard on many a record, including Grizzly Bear’s ‘Veckatimest’, will unleash the album which he says is influenced by ’ ‘My Bondage My Freedom’ the autobiography of black abolitionist Frederick Douglass, The Curse of Ham, and the music of now’.

He has announced details of a trio of London live dates - one headline, two support.

The support dates are with Beach House, who play Shepherd’s Bush Empire later this month, on 25th and 26th March.

Meanwhile Toliver will headline St Pancras Old Church on 22nd May, following the album’s release.

The dates are:

MARCH
25 London Shepherd’s Bush Empire (w/ Beach House)
26 London Shepherd’s Bush Empire (w/ Beach House)

MAY
22 London St Pancras Old Church
