Memory Tapes Reveals Video For ‘Trance Sisters’
It’s another surreal, monochrome visual experience
Not so long ago, Memory Tapes had one music video receive an esteemed Grammy nomination, so it’s with fairness that we set expectations high for his new one, for ‘Trance Sisters’.
The track is taken from Davye Hawk’s second record, ‘Player Piano’. The video’s director, Vera Todorova, was given the task of re-creating a George Lucas film, ‘THX1138’, in the space of four minutes. The eventual result is something predictably out of this world; a gloriously futuristic, monochrome video.
‘Player Piano’ is out now through Something In Construction Records in Europe and Carpark in the US.
