Sunday, bloody Sunday
Metronomy go topsy turvy for new ‘Month of Sundays’ video
Feeling dizzy? Best avoid this new Metronomy video until you’ve duly recovered.
Hangovers, tired eyes, slightly dizzy feeling in the back of head, a poor spatial awareness - these are just a handful of states that shouldn’t accompany the new Metronomy video, if advised.
In their latest ambitious clip, Joseph Mount and co. are sent topsy turvy for their ‘Month of Sundays’ video. For anyone that spends the average Sunday wrapped up in a slowly trembling ball of room-spinning disgust, this’ll be a brilliantly accurate depiction.
It’s directed by Callum Cooper, and while Metronomy themselves stick to the classy seaside suits, the rest of the video doesn’t follow any semblance of normality.
Metronomy’s ‘Love Letters’ album is out now. The new single is out 5th October.
