Mew return with ‘Satellites’ track, new album ‘+-‘ and European dates

Band’s first album in six years is due out this April.

Danish alternative giants Mew have unveiled the lead track from their first album in six years.

‘Satellites’ is a sweeping, gorgeous number that previews ‘+-‘, the follow-up to 2009 LP ‘No More Stories…’.

The new album - out 27th April - is set to feature guest contributions from Russell Lisack (Bloc Party), with recording beginning in May last year, in Copenhagen. It’ll be the band’s first LP since finishing a deal with SONY, this being an independent release. Mew and Michael Beinhorn produce the album, with Rich Costey on mixing duties.

Alongside the new track, Mew have also announced European dates. Presale tickets are available from Wednesday 21st January at 9am.
