MGMT aren’t returning until 2017 actually, sorry about that
They got a bit overexcited, it seems.
Back on Christmas Day 2015, in the midst of stuffing their faces no doubt, MGMT hinted that they would return this year. Turns out they’re a pair of big fat fibbers.
After tweeting on the birthday of Jesus that “2016 is the year MGMT re-dominates your mind hole” (lovely stuff), they’ve since repealed the statement, tweeting earlier today that they ‘Meant to say MGMT re-dominates your mind hole in *2017”. Fair play, we’ve all made tpyos before.
Fear not, mind - there’s still plenty to look forward to in the few remaining months of 2016.
