Michael Eavis Hints At Third Glastonbury Headliner
Rumours of Oasis playing are dismissed, with promise of one of the biggest-selling bands in the world.”“

Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has added fuel to rumours flying around about the identity of Glastonbury’s third, as-yet-unrevealed headliner.
So far Kasabian and Arcade Fire have been confirmed to top the Pyramid Stage on Worthy Farm. A third headliner has been promised to be unveiled in May, although rumours have recently spread about Oasis filling that slot, following Liam Gallagher’s ‘OASIS LG’ tweet. Organiser Emily Eavis subsequently put those rumours to rest by stating that Oasis would not be involved in Glastonbury 2014.
The Glasto founder backed up the statement by speaking to the Bristol Post. The headliner would be making their first appearance at the festival, with Eavis declaring them to be ‘one of the biggest-selling bands in the world at the moment.’
‘The Oasis thing had nothing to do with us, we hadn’t even considered asking them. They’ve played at the festival three or four times and they’re a great band,’ Eavis said, dismissing recent rumours.
Glastonbury 2014 tickets are completely sold out following a final resale on 27th April.
