Michael Kiwanuka announces new album ‘Small Changes’
He’s also unveiled the LP’s twinned lead tracks, ‘Lowdown (Part I)’ and ‘Lowdown (Part II)’.

Following the release of returning single ‘Floating Parade’, Mercury Prize winner Michael Kiwanuka has confirmed that his next album, ‘Small Changes’, will be released on 15th November via Polydor Records.
His just-announced fourth LP is the much-anticipated follow up to 2019’s ‘KIWANUKA’, and was produced by Danger Mouse and Inflo - the same people behind the desk for ‘KIWANUKA’ and its predecessor ‘Love & Hate’. What’s more, this time he’s also recruited even more acclaimed musicians, with bassist Pino Palladino (D’Angelo, John Mayer, Beyoncé) and Jimmy Jam - of songwriting and production duo Jam and Lewis - (Janet Jackson, Prince, SOS Band) both joining the fun.
To mark the announcement, Michael has today shared the record’s central two tracks, a pair of companion singles entitled ‘Lowdown (Part I)’ and ‘Lowdown (Part II)’: the former, a bass-led soul number; the latter, a psychedelia-tinged guitar solo.
