Modern Baseball unveil ‘This Song Is Gonna Buy Brendan Lukens a New Pair Of Socks’

Later this month, Modern Baseball will be joining forces with Thin Lips and The Superweaks to head out on a hefty tour of Europe and the UK but that’s not all - they’ll also be releasing a rather nifty 7” together, y’know, to celebrate the occasion.

Now, ahead of the three-way split’s release - it’s available digitally on January 20th via Big Scary Monsters and Lame-O Records - we’ve got the premiere of Modern Baseball’s contribution, the rather epically-titled ‘This Song Is Gonna Buy Brendan Lukens a New Pair Of Socks’.

“This is the first song we wrote as a band since the Holy Ghost sessions,” the band’s Jake Ewald told us. “I showed the guys an acoustic demo, then we met up at our studio to flesh it out and record it ourselves. Right now we’re really into guitar solos.”
