Gearing up to release their second album ‘Suicide Songs’, MONEY have unveiled its second cut - ‘I’ll Be The Night’.
The melancholy acoustic tune comes following lead track ‘You Look Like A Sad Painting On Both Sides Of the Sky’ in previewing ‘Suicide Songs’, a title that frontman Jamie Lee explained in a release: “It seemed to make sense for the period, since I was dabbling with an unworldly attitude toward life, though that’s changed now… But we don’t want it to come across just in a negative way. We don’t want to glorify mental illness either.”
‘Suicide Songs’ is released on January 29th via Bella Union - following that, the group are to headline a DIY Presents show at Birmingham’s Hare & Hounds. Listen to ‘I’ll Be The Night’ below.
