Morrissey talks Donald Trump, Obama and airport groping on Larry King Now
The Smiths frontman opened up in a rare in-depth interview.
In a rare in-depth interview - billed as his first in ten years - Morrissey spoke to Larry King about topics ranging from Donald Trump to the his struggles with depression.
At times Morrissey was his usual controversial self. Speaking about Obama, he asked “Is he white inside? I think it’s a very logical question”. Elsewhere in the interview he referred to the alleged airport groping incident, saying “he went straight for my private bits, and then he put his finger down my rear cleavage”
Morrissey also opened up about his battles with cancer and depression. “You don’t really hear that c-word when people say it; it just seems to drift over you, and you just say yes, yes” he told Larry King, looking back on his cancer diagnosis. “For me it didn’t ever get better, and I refer to it as the black dog, it doesn’t go away,” Morrissey said of his struggle with depression. “There is no cure, and I think it’s part of being a sensitive, open human.”
