Mount Eerie confirms new album, ‘Sauna’

Phil Elverum aka Mount Eerie has confirmed details of his new album ‘Sauna’, revealing that it will be a double LP release.

Out 2rd February 2015 via his own label P.W. Elverum & Sun, the record arrives after 2013’s ‘Pre-Human Ideas’ collection. Brilliantly, the record’s themes are about “vikings and zen and life.”

Detailing the album, Elverum says: “All of the song titles are single words and some of the songs are very long. This is music meant to weigh heavy on you like a lot of cold water at night, and also the sword glimmering at the bottom of the lake at night.”
