Mystery Jets confirm details of seventh studio album ‘A Hole To See The Sky Through’
The indie troubadours have also shared the record’s opener and pseudo-title track.

Having just last week made their grand return to releasing music with the reverb-soaked single ‘Black Sage’, Mystery Jets have now revealed that the track is lifted from their forthcoming new album, ‘A Hole To See The Sky Through’.
Due to arrive on 21st August via Fiction Records, it’ll be the band’s seventh full-length effort - following 2020’s ‘A Billion Heartbeats’ - and is named after Yoko Ono’s minimalist conceptual artwork of the same name.
Featuring the original piece on the cover (which comes Yoko-approved), the LP promises to be a similarly outward-looking offering that finds the Eel Pie Island quartet looking “back up from the void, to the cosmic again”.
Alongside the announcement, Mystery Jets have also dropped a second single, ‘A Hole To See The Sky Through I’, which functions as the album’s opener and thematic introduction. Check it out for yourself here:
‘A Hole To See The Sky Through’ tracklist:
1. A Hole To See The Sky Through I
2. Black Sage
3. Doomsday Waltz
4. God Rays
5. Flea Joint
6. Long Lonely Road
7. Soul River
8. Anaglypta
9. A Hole To See The Sky Through II
