Nadine Shah airs new video for ‘Stealing Cars’
Geordie gem backs up her new single, which marks a big step up.
Nadine Shah has unveiled the video for ‘Stealing Cars’, backing a brand new single that sees in the year with promise of a new 2015 LP.
Following last year’s debut album ‘Love Your Dum and Mad’, this latest track sees Shah opting for a firmer, more percussive shift, with clattering guitars driving down the same consistent path for four dazzling minutes. It’s a marked step up from the debut, with nods to Elbow’s rich instrumentation weaving into the mix.
In an accompanying video, Shah goes for a more abstract route. Here, a face bathed in light chops and changes, double-exposing its way into obscurity.
