Neon Indian Announces New London Date, Unveils Custom Synth

He also produces a Hipster Runoff-baiting video to accompany the news

Neon Indian has announced his biggest London show to date, playing at Heaven on 16th November.

On top of that, Alan Palomo has teamed up with Bleep Labs, an Austin-based manufacturing company, to create his own mini-syntheseizer.

Entitled PAL198X, it’ll be available to all those who order the deluxe edition of ‘Era Extraña’, the second album from the Texas-based artist out on 10th October, through Transgressive Records.

Of the mini-synth, Polomo said: ‘It’s a triple triangle-wave oscillator noisemaking device with interchangeable controls for maximal sonic contortion. You can attach knobs, light-reactive photocells, and a variety of other devices for semi-modular capabilities. It can interact with a variety of objects around your house whether electronic in nature or not. It can even interact with your pet. It does not make the same sound twice. Basically, I want you to hack this fucking thing.’

Tickets for the show at Heaven are available now. You can watch the accompanying tongue-in-cheek video for PAL198X below:
